General information
Proceedings
The scientific presentations from the meeting can be optionally published in the 31EPS proceedings, Peptides 2010. Contributions to the proceedings must be submitted online to http://www.5z.com/31eps, where the formatting and deadline will be announced (appr. Sept 30, 2010). The proceedings book will be available for download free of charge. A printed version can be ordered online. Main editor of the proceedings will be Michal Lebl, co-editors Morten Meldal, Knud J. Jensen, Thomas Hoeg-Jensen.
Images, graphics, drawings and tables can be presented in the proceedings book.
Manuscripts for the proceedings book can be submitted on-line during the month following the symposium.
The 31EPS Proceedings will be available for download free of charge and in printed version for appr. 30 USD + shipping (external supplier).
Banks
Normal banking hours are from 10:00 to 16:00 hrs. Monday to Friday. On Thursday banking hours are extended to 18:00 hrs. Extended banking facilities are available at Copenhagen Central Railway Station 7 days/week between 07:00 and 21:00 hrs. There are ATMs usually located in connection with a bank branch, which accept a variety of international credit cards. The cards accepted are indicated on the dispenser.
Biotage Lunch Symposium
The Biotage lunch symposium will take place Monday, September 6. You can signup for this when you register for the symposium. Limited tickets. Incl. a light lunch.
CEM Lunch Symposium
The CEM lunch symposium will take place Tuesday, September 7. You can signup for this when you register for the symposium. Limited tickets. Incl. a light lunch.

The Organisers reserve the right to adjust or change the programme as necessary.
Climate

The European Peptide Society has reset its member database, and you are encouraged to (re) join the society, on this link, in parallel with the symposium registration. The society membership is free of charge and not obligatory for participation at the symposium.
Journal of Peptide Science (JPS)
31EPS full registrants and European Peptide Society members in general, will get free access to Journal of Peptide Science online for 6 months, Wiley.
Jupiter Bioscience lunch symposium
The lunch symposium will take place Wednesday, September 8 and you can signup for this when you register for the symposium. Limited tickets. Incl a light lunch.
Letter of Invitation
The congress organisation will be pleased to send a formal letter of invitation to delegates requesting an invitation letter for visa purposes. It is understood that such an invitation is intended to help potential delegates to raise funds or to obtain a visa. This does not imply a commitment from the congress to provide any financial support.
Liability and Insurance
Neither the Organisers (EPS) nor the Conference Secretariat will assume any responsibility whatsoever for damage or injury to persons or property during the Conference.
Participants are recommended to arrange for their personal travel and health insurance.
Local Transportation
The Metro train from Copenhagen Airport offers you a direct train every 4-6 minutes to the city centre of Copenhagen and will take approximately 14 minutes. Please check www.m.dk for further information. The Metro can also take you from the city centre to the Venue - Bella Center in 10 minutes.
A taxi from Copenhagen Airport to the city centre is approximately DKK 250 (no extra charges for suitcases).
Lunch
Lunch bags for all 4 days can be purchased for DKK 140 (19 €) per lunch bag when you register on-line for the conference.
Lunch Symposia
Our sponsors Biotage, CEM and Jupiter Bioscience will invite the delegates for a lunch symposia during the conference. The days concerned are September 6, 7 and 8 and you can sign-up for these when you register for the conference. Limited tickets. Incl. a light lunch.

Shops
The shops are open from 09:30/10:00 to 18:00/19:00 hrs. Monday through Thursday and 09:30/10:00 to 20:00 on Friday and 09:00 to 17:00 on Saturday.

Travel Grants
It is possible to apply for a travelgrant of 300 € provided by EPS (25 grants will be available). In order to apply you must verify with a letter from your supervisor and you must be co-author to an abstract in the abstract book. Deadline for applications is August 1 and should be sent to msc@discongress.com
Visa
The entry formalities for the Kingdom of Denmark vary according to the country of origin. Congress delegates are asked to address enquiries about entry and vaccination requirements to the travel agent or to the local Royal Danish Embassy / Consulate / Representation in the home country.
